Plurale Tantum Does the Congress for New Urbanism’s “Next Gen” Symposium

The Resident Pluralists of Plurale Tantum will be presenting our approach and proto-framework for analyzing, planning, and designing urban spaces at NextGen8, a one-day symposium leading up to the Congress for New Urbanism’s 19th Annual Conference (CNU19). While we can’t be there (Madison, WI) physically on June 1, we’ve put together a basic set of slides to be delivered by our friend, Kristen Jeffers, who will also be sharing her own ideas about cities.  Our slides are linked here: Next Gen pres.

While Plurale Tantum is critical of many of the practices of CNU, we are honored and excited to be in conversation with its NextGen.  We’ll be building on this basic presentation, as we continue to write, practice, dialogue with others, see space, critique our own ideas, and find commonalities in the themes we explore in this virtual forum.

Will you be at NextGen8?  Let us know in the comments section!  What did you think?
