Re-post: Welcome to the Urban Revolution

Wanted to draw some attention to a recent interview of Jeb Bruggman about his new book, Welcome to the Urban Revolution: How Cities are Changing the World (a not-so-subtle reference to Henri Lefevbre’s Urban Revolution).  Haven’t read Bruggman’s book yet, but if the interview is an accurate reflection it should be a relevant PT pub – particularly as it discusses the conflict between our private industry/public agencies, which are set up to build “higher end,” “single-use,” “standard products,” and a model that “serve[s] the strategic purposes of specific user communities.”
